Head Coach: Debby Roberts

Debby was born in Montana to a military family and had an opportunity to travel around. She attended high school in Michigan, where her family settled. She returns to Michigan once a year to visit. Debby is married to Windale Roberts and has two children.

Debby began her career teaching swimming lessons. Debby's father was a YMCA director, so she grew up around the water. Debby's career then progressed to swim coach/program director in the Athens Parks and Recreation Department in 1977. From 1985-1989 she was a recreation director in Athens.

She missed programming and coaching, though, so in 1990 she came to Guntersville and established herself as program director and pool manager/swim coach. "My favorite part of coaching is watching kids meet goals and succeed and seeing them excel above their expectations," she says.
